This Month’s Linqto Learn event featured the visionary Victor Aguero of Cambrian Works, who discussed the growing expansion of the space economy. He compared the accessibility and availability of space travel and space industry to the availability of low-cost commercial air travel and the world wide web, which just three or four decades ago were out of reach. He noted the return on investment of building infrastructure and production in space and the eventual need for international laws pertaining to space that allow for a multitude of global actors.

Dr. Victor Aguero is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cambrian Works, an innovative Silicon Valley venture focused on commercial business opportunities in space technology and infrastructure. Before founding Cambrian Works, Victor was a senior researcher and principal investigator at SRI International in Menlo Park, California. Victor’s most recent work has centered upon communications and networking architectures for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations, new technology applications in space, and architectures for robotic space capability, cluster operations, and coordinated multi-spacecraft missions.
